The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria is on the increase as two more cases have been recorded in Kano State, bringing the total number of cases in the state to three.
Salihu Yakasai, the Director-General, Media and Communications for the Kano State Government confirmed the sad news as the number of cases grew in the state.
”This is to announce that 2 additional cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed after their test results returned positive. The total number of cases now in Kano State stands at 3,” he said.
The president today extended the lockdown in Abuja, Lagos, and Ogun by another 14 days.
